Camp Gecko Tented Camp & Campsite is located at the foot of the Spreetshoogte pass. Visit this unique eco camp and enjoy the original safari atmosphere. Without electricity and wifi reception you can let your mind wander undisturbed, enjoy the beauty of nature! The breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and the warm hospitality.

There are various facilities to make your stay at even more enjoyable. For example, Camp Gecko also offers you cold drinks and ice, firewood and barbecue packages for sale. You can also choose to be pampered with breakfast and dinner in the Lapa.

Route

Camp Gecko is located North of Solitaire on the main route between Sesriem and Swakopmund (C14). Then drive a bit west on the D1275. The camp is located at the foot of the Spreets Hoogte pass (D1275). This camp is also a great stop on the way from Windhoek to Sesriem.

We booked a last minute 17 day self drive trip through Namibia with this company and everything was just perfect. Contact with the company was very pleasant and they kept us posted with updates about the progress of our trip. Gps, maps, book and 12V equipment was sent to our home as soon as our trip was confirmed.
