Okonjima Nature Reserve lies around 270 kilometres north of Windhoek. The reserve covers more than 20,000 hectares of natural savannah and is home to the AfriCat Foundation.
This non-profit organisation focuses on the conservation of large predators in Namibia, with particular attention to cheetahs and leopards. That gives a visit to Okonjima another layer. You are not only here to see animals, but also learn more about the work behind their protection.
