Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park was established in 1895 and is the oldest nature reserve in Africa.
The park played a major role in rhino conservation, and sightings here are common.
Alongside the Big Five, giraffe, cheetah and wild dog also live in the area. The northern section is especially varied in both wildlife and birdlife.
