Bagani
The Okavango flows past Bagani through a greener part of north-eastern Namibia. River landscapes, Popa Falls and Bwabwata National Park all come together here.

Bagani lies on the south-western bank of the Okavango River in Kavango East. The landscape is greener and more water-rich than many travellers expect from Namibia.
The B8 crosses the Okavango at Bagani Bridge. Bwabwata National Park begins on the eastern side, opening into rivers, woodland and open plains.
Bagani is also close to Popa Falls. Here, the Okavango runs across a broad series of rapids before continuing towards Botswana.
The river sets the pace.
The Okavango is the constant around Bagani. Birds and wildlife gather along the water, while river activities such as boat trips and mokoro excursions are available in the region.
Popa Falls is not a high waterfall, but a series of rapids stretching across the river. The rocks and channels are easier to see when water levels are lower.
