Quivertree Forest Restcamp lies just outside Keetmanshoop, inside the Quivertree Forest. You stay among quiver trees, surrounded by rock formations and open landscape.
The quiver tree is actually an aloe. Its name comes from the way the San once used the hollow branches to make quivers for arrows.
The campsites look out towards the quiver trees. Different bird species, including rosy-faced lovebirds, are commonly found in the area.
