Kaoko Mopane Lodge & Campsite lies just outside Opuwo and has 5 private campsites, 1 overland campsite and 10 rooms. The five private campsites sit beneath mopane trees. Each one has private ablutions, hot water, a 220V power point and a braai.
For larger groups, there is also an overland campsite. It has a shared ablution block with several showers and toilets. Hot water and a braai are also available.
Prefer a fixed roof for the night, and you can choose a room with a private bathroom and terrace. From there, you look over the dry riverbed where birds gather during the day.
