Halali Restcamp lies between Namutoni and Okaukuejo in Etosha National Park, south of the salt pan. Several popular waterholes are nearby, making it a practical place to stop during a self drive through Etosha.
Thicker vegetation around Halali is home to leopards, rhinos and elephants. Back at camp, the floodlit waterhole gives you another place to keep watching after the day's drive is done.
The name Halali comes from the German word for the traditional end of a hunt. Here, that history sits alongside the rise of ecotourism in Namibia.
