The campsite at Chobe Safari Lodge lies on the edge of Kasane, directly beside Chobe National Park. As a camping guest, you can use the lodge facilities. After a day on the road, you can have dinner in the restaurant or cool down in the swimming pool.
Sedudu Bar is a well-known sundowner spot, with views across the Chobe River as the afternoon light fades.
Every campsite has its own power supply. Modern shared ablutions provide the showers and toilets.
Drive yourself, or take to the river.
From the campsite, you can take your own 4x4 into Chobe National Park for a game drive. If you want a break from driving, organised game drives can also be booked.
Another option is a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. From the water, you may see large herds of elephants and buffalo. Late in the afternoon, these animals gather at the river to drink.
Kasane and the lodge also make it easy to take a full-day excursion to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
