The Kwando runs past camp. Botswana lies on the far bank. This is where a long drive between Kasane and Bagani or Rundu gives way to shade, water and a slower evening.

Bush Camp by Camp Kwando sits on the Kwando River near Kongola, in Namibia's Zambezi Region. Botswana is on the opposite bank, with the river forming the natural border between the two countries.
The campsite lies next to the Camp Kwando chalets, between the main building and the island. There is room for around ten campsites and four private sites with a power point.
Camping guests can also use the restaurant and swimming pool. After a long day on the road, that leaves very little to organise.
